Drakania, Black Desert's New Class Arriving on Console

Pre-creation of characters began today, along with the reworked monster zone 'Abandoned Monastery,' which provides a unique co-op experience.

Pearl Abyss, the Korean publisher and developer, revealed today that Black Desert's newest class, Drakania, will be coming to Black Desert Console on May 25. Pre-creation of Drakania characters is now possible. There is now a co-op play in the reworked zone 'Abandoned Monastery,' as well.

She harnesses a dragon's strength with her two-handed blade Slayer and her sub weapon Shard, which may be used in tandem. Black Desert Console gamers can begin pre-creating their Drakania character and get different in-game goodies, including augmentation resources, to help them prepare for her debut on May 25. As a part of the update, the game will also offer the new season server ‘Season: Drakania’, which is particularly intended to assist players to achieve quicker character development. Players on the season server will be rewarded and boosted after completing a series of tasks.

Pearl Abyss has also announced that the 'Abandoned Monastery', a monster zone in Black Desert's Calpheon area, has been upgraded. A new co-op mode has been introduced to this monster zone, with an increased possibility of encountering a boss. In the Abandoned Monastery, players may now engage in competitive gaming with their friends and work together to battle creatures and collect their rewards. Finally, players will be able to pick up a new item that will allow them to arrange their gear more effectively and boost their accuracy metrics.
