Fade To Silence Now Available On Steam Early Access

If you're looking for a survival title to spend time with during the holidays, you might be in luck as Fade To Silence just released on Steam Early Access. Developed by Black Forest Games, of Gianna Sisters fame, and published by THQ Nordic, the game was revealed during The Game Awards. "As the player you take the role of Ash, a natural but tormented leader. In that role you explore a post-apocalyptic, frozen wasteland to gather the resources necessary to establish a refuge for survival. With dwindling resources, simple tasks like upgrading equipment and collecting materials quickly require an expedition to scavenge the necessary items."

The current Early Access build comes with the ability to construct, upgrade and defend your refuge. Followers can be rescued, recruited and coordinated for resource management. Doing battle with eldtrich monstrosities, going on expeditions alongside your followers in a wolf sled and deadly blizzards are also part of the package. The developers aim to keep Fade To Silence in Early Access for 8 months, the full release being planned for August 2018.
