Fortnite Adds New Norse Themed Cosmetics

Following the release of season 5 of Fortnite the map took several radical changes adding a new desert biome and a Norse village after the Rift theme. Now new cosmetics have been added to complement the Norse village.

The Magnus outfit allows players to dress up in Viking fashion with features such as a horned-helmet, a strong beard and animal skin wrappings. Accompanying the new skin is a new harvesting tool known as the Forbearer which turns your pickax into a Viking ax. It's no Kratos Levithan but it's close enough.

The skin is available for 2000 V-bucks while the ax is being sold for 800 V-bucks. Other items in the store this week include the Arctic Assassin and Absolute Zero outfits, the Wiggle and Click emotes, the Stealth glider and the Pink Flamingo harvesting tool.

Fortnite is available now for Nintendo Switch, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in early access.
