Getting into the prison during the To Suffer Without Dying quest in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced can be tough if you try to fight your way through.

The area crawls with guards who will drop you quickly if you get caught. Fortunately, you can use a specific stealth route to bypass most of the danger and reach your destination safely.

Here’s how to stealth past the guards, get some extra loot, and trigger the cutscene without dying.

Reaching the Rooftop

You start this section outside the enemy base. Your main goal is to get up high as fast as possible. Search around the outer wall for a big stack of grass or a hay barrel. Run fast as soon as the patrol guards turn their backs.

Climb up from the hay barrel to the brick rooftop above you. Once you are on the roof, you will see a massive flag and a nearby watch point tower. If you want to keep track of enemy movements, take a second to mark the watch point before moving forward.

Dealing with the Guards

Walk along the roof toward the tower. There is exactly one guard stationed on this upper path who will block your progress. You need to take him out quietly before he raises the alarm.

After handling the guard, look down to find another hay stack below the roofline. Drop into the hay stack, jump out, and slip into the nearby patch of flowers to stay hidden in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Sneaking Past the Main Courtyard

This is where the mission gets tricky. A large group of guards patrols the area just ahead. As you move above them, they will start to spot you. Do not panic if their detection meters start to fill.

If you crouch and move fast, you can slide right into a hiding spot along the wall. Even if the guards notice you briefly, you can still pull this off. Staying low and remaining in the shadows allows you to continue along the wall line.

Reaching the Basement and Triggering the Cutscene

From the wall, make a jump across the gap. You need to aim for the bushes on the other side. Make sure you actually jump directly onto the bushes to maintain your footing and stay hidden.

Right past this area, you can grab a bonus collectible item that counts toward your season pass rewards. After grabbing the loot, you can jump into another nearby pile of hay if you need to shake off any alerted guards in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

From the hay pile, head straight into the open hallway leading down. As soon as you step into this hallway, the game will automatically trigger the cutscene, safely advancing you to the next part of the story.
