In this Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced guide, you will learn how to find a way out of the Observatory structure in the Observatory Mission.

Leaving the Water

You start the escape swimming in the water. Look toward the south direction to find a set of stone blocks. Move to these blocks and use them to climb out of the water. Continue moving upward using the climbing paths until you reach the main platform above.

When you step onto the platform, a large door begins to shut. You cannot run fast enough to slide under it before it closes completely, so you must seek a different exit route in Assassin's Creed Black Flag.

Scaling the North Wall

Turn around and face the north side of the area. Find a bit of the wall that looks broken and lower.

Climb up this damaged wall to reach a narrow pathway. Look at the right wall inside this section to find small rock ledges. Grab onto these ledges and move your body sideways to the right while hanging.

Follow the ledge until you cannot go further right, then climb slightly upward. You must perform a back eject here in Assassin's Creed Black Flag.

Press the jump button one time to leap backward away from the wall and land on the structure behind you. Turn left, face the next gap, and press the jump button again to cross over to the next platform.

Navigating the Caves

Continue forward along the path and prepare for a difficult leap. Face the open drop ahead and jump across to the opposite ledge.

The controls can be inconsistent here, so aim carefully to avoid falling into the pit. Once you land safely on the far side, walk directly into the dark cave opening. Follow the linear tunnel until it leads you outside to complete the escape in Assassin's Creed Black Flag.
