Destroying the Powder Reserves in the Arms Race mission can get messy if you fight every soldier. This quest is part of the Templar Hunt storyline for Rhona Dinsmore in Havana. Your goal is to blow up three piles of gunpowder to weaken Hilary Flint.

The easiest way to do this is to stay hidden. But here is the thing: even if the guards spot you, the progress still counts as long as you light the fuse. Here is how it works.

Breaking Into the First Location

The first stockpile is very close to where you start the mission. Walk straight toward the courtyard area in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

You do not need to clear out all the guards here. Just sneak inside, kill the single guard standing right next to the red barrel, and light it up. As soon as the fuse starts burning, turn around and run away. This saves you from wasting time in a massive street fight.

Finding the Second Hidden Barrel

The next objective sits about 130 meters away. For this one, climb up to the rooftops immediately. Staying high makes stealth kills much easier in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Follow the roofline until you see a building with a checkered patio floor. Watch out for the guard standing near the chimney and take him out.

Look over the edge of the roof to the ground below. The barrel is hidden under a pile of green leaves. Drop down, take out the guards in your way, light the fire, and leave.

Look for an L-shaped building with a wire stretching across the open space. Stand on the edge and look down.
