In this Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced guide, you will learn how to collect all the items required for the Damn Fine Gear side quest to unlock a special set of equipment.

Storing the Items

You need five items in total to complete the objective. The story gives you the very first one automatically when you arrive at the Manor. The remaining four require you to track down specific targets across the map in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

You can return to the Manor at any point by using the fast travel feature on your map, which is where you must bring the items to unlock your reward.

If you do not see these targets on your map, you must advance further in the primary story missions to unlock access to these regions.

Tracking the First Target

Open the world map and look toward the northern section. Locate the marker for the target named Upton Travers in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Set a waypoint for this location and travel there. Speak with the contact at the site to begin the chain of objectives. You must complete the entire sequence of tasks in this area, which takes around fifteen to twenty minutes, to secure the second item.

Hunting in the Cities

The next item is located within Havana. Open your map to find the marker belonging to Rona Dinsmore. Set your tracker to this spot and travel to the city. You need to complete several connected tasks here.

Keep checking your map to find and complete each consecutive objective until you receive the third item in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Securing the Coastal and Southern Items

For the fourth item, travel to the location marked for Opia Apito. Walk along the beach to find the contact you need. Finish each individual task in this particular chain to claim your reward.

To find the final item, look toward the southern part of the map at Kingston. Locate the contact named Anto in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Follow the map markers to finish the initial task and any subsequent objectives that pop up in the area to earn the last piece.

Claiming the Reward

With all five items in your possession, use fast travel to return directly to the Manor. Walk inside the building and enter the room located on your right side. Head to the cage's locked door and place all the items in the locks.

Opening this cage gives you the Templar Armor outfit. Besides the new clothes you also receive the Templar Cross trinket, which decreases the damage you take from close range melee attacks during combat in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.
