Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Guide | How to Upgrade Ship

Here’s a guide on how to upgrade your Ship in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Upgrading your Jackdaw is essential to survive Main Story Quests and explore the open sea in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.

To start, head to Havana or any major Port Town on the Map. Open the Map view and zoom in to find a specific Harbour Icon with a small Sailboat. Go to this Shop location to explore the initial Ship Modifications.

At the start of the game, your choice is limited to Tier One Upgrades. Work on upgrading your Weapons to raise the offensive Damage on Enemy Fleets.

With the Mortar Weapon purchased, you will be able to perform long-range artillery strikes on distant targets. The second Menu column contains defensive items like extra Hull Armor to absorb Damage, as well as a reinforced Ram to destroy Enemy hulls by crashing into them in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

Reaching Tier Two

After purchasing the basic Tier One gear, the Shop interface will lock you out of advanced Parts. Reaching higher Tiers requires raw Materials, Gold, and a specific Town Expansion. To unlock Tier Two options, you must upgrade the local facilities located at Great Inagua.

This pirate hideout becomes accessible automatically as you progress through the main Campaign.

Open the world Map and Fast Travel directly to the Great Inagua Docks once you have accumulated enough Gold.

Construction Manager Location

Go to the beach and speak to a Construction Manager to invest your Gold and restore the local Harbour Infrastructure. Completing this investment automatically removes the restriction on Tier Two Ship Parts.

Unlocking Tier Three

Once the Harbour Renovation finishes, speak with the same manager a second time. This interaction unlocks the option to fund the Tier Three facility Upgrade.

Avoid buying this final level immediately unless you possess a massive stockpile of Gold, as the construction costs will drain your wallet completely before you can even purchase the actual Ship Weapons in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.

With the local Harbour successfully upgraded, turn to the Harbour Master clerk standing right next to the construction manager.

Interacting with this Merchant opens the advanced Catalog. You can now spend your Gold and collected crafting Materials to purchase your Tier Two Upgrades, including the heavy steel Ram and reinforced Hull Armor plating in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.
