Game Guide by Faviyan Mustafiz on Jul 13, 2025
This beginner-tier armor set provides solid protection and valuable bonuses for melee combatants and those seeking balanced defense. This guide will teach you how to get the method, gather the materials, make each piece, and know which armor is best for what and what its stats are.

How to Unlock the Armor Set
The Rising Fighter Armor Set becomes available upon rescuing the Blacksmith NPC. Once sheltered—having a roof overhead and walls enclosing his workspace—the Blacksmith offers both the Rising Fighter Armor Set and the Fur Armor Set recipes.
While the Fur Armor Set is easier to obtain, the Rising Fighter Armor Set delivers superior protection and bonuses. Ensure the Blacksmith is housed under a proper shelter to access these recipes.
How to Craft
Crafting the Rising Fighter Armor Set requires four main ingredient types: Metal Sheets, Animal Fur, Resin, and String. String is crafted from Plant Fiber, making it abundant early in the game.
Animal Fur can be collected around Hunter Spire, found on the ground or dropped by particular creatures, or harvested by hunting animals. Resin also appears in the vicinity of Hunter Spire, gathered from nodes scattered throughout the area.

To create Metal Sheets, first unlock the recipe at the Blacksmith and then use the Forge. Each Metal Sheet requires two Charcoals and multiple Metal Scraps.
Charcoal is produced in a Charcoal Kiln, while Metal Scrap is found throughout the world in abandoned camps and ruins. Once you have all the materials you need, go to the Forge to make the chest, helmet, gauntlets, pants, and boots that make up the armor set.
Best Playstyle Type for Armor
The Rising Fighter Armor Set is tailored toward melee combat, favoring fighters who engage in close-quarters combat. The set's bonuses—such as increased melee critical strike chance and added melee damage—enhance the effectiveness of sword and axe builds.
While ranged and magic users can still wear the set for its defensive benefits, melee-focused characters will derive the most advantage from its bonuses.
Rising Fighter Armor Stats

Wearing the complete Rising Fighter Armor Set provides the following cumulative bonuses:
- 103 Physical Resistance
- 51 Magical Resistance
- 11% Melee Critical Strike Chance
- 83 Bonus Health
- 2% Melee Damage Increase
- +1 Health Regeneration

The health renewal bonus lets you keep healing, though it's slowly, without having to eat berries or drink health potions. Combined with substantial resistance and melee-oriented boosts, this armor set ensures early-game survivability and offensive potential for fighters venturing into the wild.
