Use the lowest-tier essence sufficient to reach the next gem level. This conserves higher-tier resources for top-tier upgrades.

Forge Selection

Match your gem’s upgrade stage with a forge whose level exceeds the gem’s current level. For example, use a Level 30 forge for a Level 28 gem.

Salvaging Criteria
