Gatekeeper Guide | How to Unlock Pandora and Master Abilities

Pandora is the spellcaster in Gatekeeper's character roster. She uses magic-based assaults and support spells. This character has a mix of beam attacks, area control, and ways to recover.

Pandora is fragile, so players need to be cautious about where they put her, but she gives them a lot of different ways to do damage and utility talents that may change the course of a fight.

Pandora's Unlock Requirement

To unlock Pandora in Gatekeeper, you need to complete the game up to level 10 and defeat the boss, then choose the orange Apotheosis portal instead of the usual blue one at the end of the stage.

Pandora Abilities

Pandora fulfills the spellcaster role. Her first skill plays identically to Hybrid's first skill - you fire a beam in front of you with the bonus that it can sometimes bounce to enemies.

When fired into large clusters, watch it bounce around for AOE damage, though it remains primarily single target.

Her secondary ability, Emission, fires a wide beam that's easy to use with almost no delay. It can be upgraded to stun enemies. This ability effectively eliminates both tankier single foes by stunning them so you can burn them down, and large groups of enemies.

Healing Dash works similarly to Hybrid's mobility skill with one big exception - once you end the teleport, it creates a healing circle. This heals up to 40% of your health over 5 seconds.

Stand in the circle and avoid damage from enemies to get health back. If you're running a low regen build, this becomes invaluable. If you have enough recovery from other sources, you can treat this as a regular teleport.

Lightning Conductor, her fourth skill, creates a circle on the ground. Its duration can be extended with upgrades, making it a strong candidate for investment.

It does significant damage, and as enemies move around within the circle, the slow effect helps because they can't escape easily.

Pandora's passive is Haunting Luminary, which gives her luminary attack a cleaving ability.

Your experience with Pandora may be mixed. While she fulfills the magic caster archetype and her secondary skill is powerful, she often ends up being a weaker version of Hybrid.

You can get significant damage, but you're extremely squishy and need to be careful. If you're offered defensive or health artifacts, you should take them because your damage is sufficient, but you'll be fragile.
