Mina the Hollower Guide | How to Get to Nox's Bayou

Nox’s Bayou is one of the key early Generator regions in Mina the Hollower, but the path is easy to confuse with nearby side routes. The correct route begins from Ossex, pushes through the western areas, and continues into the swamp before opening into the bayou. This guide gives you the clean path without unnecessary detours.

Leave Ossex And Head West

Start from the Ossex gate area and leave town through the southern approach. Once outside, move left toward the Western Wilds route instead of wandering through unrelated northern paths. If you reach the Occupied Bridge area, you are on the correct line toward the bayou.

Cross Western Wilds

In Western Wilds, continue through the main path and watch for red crystal barriers. These are not dead ends. Use the nearby lava and environmental interactions to clear the route, then keep moving deeper into the region. The goal is to keep pushing away from Ossex until the landscape begins shifting toward swamp terrain.

Enter Backwaters

After Western Wilds, the route leads into Backwaters. Stay on the main swamp path and continue through the muddy water, crows, puddles, and wooden platforms. Do not chase every side path here, because several of them lead to collectibles or optional NPC routes rather than Nox’s Bayou.

Reach Nox’s Bayou

Keep following the swamp route until the area changes into the purple, watery bayou zone. Wooden platforms and a large lake are strong landmarks near the end of the approach. Once the Nox’s Bayou area name appears, continue forward toward the Generator objective. This is the intended second-order region, so expect stronger enemies, water-routing puzzles, and more involved exploration after you arrive.
