Exploring the campsite in Phantom Blade Zero reveals a heavy locked door leading into an underground dungeon. Opening it requires the Thieves' Camp Dungeon Key, which is tucked away in an entirely different part of the zone.

Locating the Cellar at Cliffside Lodge

Start at the locked dungeon door in Thieves' Camp and head east deeper into Crimson Forest. Push forward through the trails until you reach the Cliffside Lodge Bell.

Near this bell stands an old lodge with a locked cellar entrance outside. The cellar gate is tied to a crank mechanism that is missing its handle, meaning you must track down the part before heading underground.

Getting Crank & Entering Cellar

Circle around to the outer side of the lodge and make your way up to the second floor. You will find the crank handle sitting upstairs in Phantom Blade Zero.

Pick it up, head back down to the cellar doors, and insert the crank into the mechanism. Turn it to pull open the cellar doors and head down into the dark.

Finding Thieves Camp Dungeon Key

Once inside the cellar, the corridor splits in two directions. Skip the right-hand path completely, as it leads straight into a room filled with poison. Take the left path instead.

A single guard patrols this hallway. Take him down, drop down into the lower opening, and look to your left for a climbable wall. Scale the wall to pull yourself up onto a raised ledge containing a chest and two glowing items on the ground.

The item lying right by the chest is the Secret Chamber Crank. Walk just past it to spot the second glowing pickup, which is the Thieves' Camp Dungeon Key. Grab both items off the floor.

Once you have the key in your inventory, fast travel back to the Crane Bell at Thieves' Camp. Walk up to the locked door to open the dungeon and access the wounded NPC, hidden chests, and side quests waiting below in Phantom Blade Zero.
