Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games this generation. Since its reveal gamers have been hungering for new details and today CD Projekt RED delivered a torrent of new details, for just 1 of many episodes.
CD Projekt RED showed off the prologue for the game in the trailer called The Gig. Featuring V and his partner Jackie getting involved with a brothel. We jump between Night City and the nomadic region the Badlands.
CD Projekt RED didn't stop there, providing an in-depth look at Braindance. Those who played Remember Me will remember a similar system. Where the player could read the minds of individuals to alter their actions. Here players can reconstruct memories to learn new information unknown to the user.
A new faction has been confirmed. Called The Mox these people were founded after the death of Elizabeth Borden. This person was notorious for protecting and helping sex workers from abuse and now this gang carries on her memory by performing the same services.
CD Projekt RED also confirmed that those who purchase the game on current-gen consoles will receive a free update on the same console family. This has also been confirmed for Square Enix's Avengers.
For those hungry for more post-launch content, an anime created by japan studio Trigger will launch on Netflix's in 2022. Called Cyberpunk: Edgerunners this series will be an entirely separate story from the core game.
Cyberpunk 2077 is looking to become one of the best games this generation and a ground-breaking title in video games in general. Despite the delay fans have shown ridiculous amounts of zeal in playing the final product and judging from this short dive into this lush world it's going to be a wild ride.
Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 19th. With next-gen versions also coming on day-1 of the console's launch and a stadia version at a later date.
