To make the Storm builds more effective in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, the Enraged Divine Beast Talisman provides a 10% damage increase to Storm-related abilities.

This guide will walk you through creating an effective build that maximizes the potential of the enhanced Storm abilities in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Primary Weapon

You'll want to equip the Horned Warrior's Great Sword as your primary weapon.

This new Storm-based weapon comes with the Horn Calling Storm Ash of War.

While it operates similarly to the Stormhawk Axe, it offers slightly less raw power but compensates with superior roll-catching capabilities.

This makes it particularly effective when engaging multiple enemies simultaneously in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Secondary Weapon Option

You could also use a Night Rider Glaive with frostbite as a weapon.

The frostbite infusion turns this weapon into one that scales with your strength, so it works with the way your build's stats are set up.

This arrangement gets the most out of your strength investments because you'll mostly be using weapons with both hands in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

Stat Distribution

This Storm-focused setup works well with various build types, but strength builds gain the most advantage from this configuration.

The Horned Warrior's Great Sword naturally scales with strength, and the two-handed combat style amplifies strength-based damage output effectively.

Required Talismans

You must equip both the Shard of Alexander and the Enraged Divine Beast Talisman in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

These two Talismans provide crucial damage bonuses to all the ashes of war you'll be utilizing throughout this build.

Their effects stack to create significant damage improvements for your Storm-based attacks.

Optional Talisman Choices

The last two Talisman slots are flexible, so you can choose what you want in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.

The Bullgoat Talisman helps you stay calm, allowing you to keep attacking without stopping.

The Erdtree's Favor +2, on the other hand, gives you a lot of perks, such as more HP, stamina, and equipment load capacity.

Combat Strategy

Focus on using the improved Storm Ashes of War to control where things are on the battlefield and do damage to a whole area over and over.

The improved damage from your Talisman setup makes these abilities viable as primary damage sources rather than utility options.

Use the roll-catching properties of your Storm attacks to punish enemy movement and create openings for follow-up strikes in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree.
