New Trailer for Sea of Thieves The Hungering Deep Hints at New Monster

Today, Rare released the first teaser trailer for The Hunger Deep update coming to Sea of Thieves.

The trailer doesn't provide any gameplay but instead, a pirate explaining a new threat players will have to face.

Do the sailors on the Sea of Thieves face a new threat, or an ancient one? Hear the stories and steel yourselves for new challenges in the first content update for Rare's shared world pirate adventure.

Players are assuming the monster is a prehistoric shark known as the Megalodon but Rare hasn't confirmed this. But players won't have to wait long as the update launches May 29th.

Sea of Thieves is now available for Xbox One and Windows 10.
