By presenting buggies as complete companions rather than just mounts, Grounded 2 transforms the survival experience.
These Bugs will keep you company when they explore, gather resources, and engage in combat in Grounded 2.
The Red Soldier Ant is your first opportunity to get such a companion, which will fundamentally change how you approach the game's challenges.

Using Your Buggy Partner
As soon as the Ant Nest structure is available, place your freshly hatched Red Soldier Ant there.
Two significant benefits of this assignment are that the building can be used as a storage area to keep your companion from straying and can also be used as a summoning station to call your mount to you or recall it to base in Grounded 2.
Your companion will usually reach you in a matter of seconds, thanks to the summoning system, which is based on distance from the Ant Nest.
When exploring the park and gathering resources, this feature is quite helpful in Grounded 2.

During combat encounters, keep an eye on the condition of your buggy because it will gradually recover from damage.
Use the Ant Nest system to send your companion back to base to hasten the healing process.
To maintain operational efficiency, keep moving around on foot while it heals and call it back once it is completely recovered.
Applications in Combat and Utility
Depending on your preferred strategy, your Red Soldier Ant can play a variety of combat roles. You can dismount and fight alongside your buggy as it engages enemies on its own, or you can ride the companion and use parrying techniques from the saddle to become a mobile combat unit. When it comes to early to mid-game threats, both tactics work well in Grounded 2.
Activate resource mode to transform your companion into an efficient harvesting tool for materials like Stems and Grass. The buggy will automatically collect resources into its inventory, providing additional storage space during extended gathering expeditions.

Make use of the Red Soldier Ant's unique power to attract Worker Ants to follow you temporarily in Grounded 2.
Although the duration is still constrained and strategic timing is needed, this ability builds a temporary army that can affect the result of challenging combat encounters.
With its ability to combine combat effectiveness, resource gathering efficiency, and transportation convenience, your Red Soldier Ant is a significant improvement to your survival skills in Grounded 2.
Priorities are getting this companion as early as possible to maximize its impact on your gameplay experience in Grounded 2.
