Here's a guide on how to control ship in Solarpunk.

It takes a bit of practice to get comfortable with your Airship in Solarpunk, but the controls are relatively easy to learn once you know what each key does. This guide is for movement, steering and docking.

Basic Movement Controls

Press W to go forward and press S twice to go backwards. Hold shift to descend quickly, use spacebar to ascend quickly. Press T to change the angle of your ship, moving your mouse left or right will steer your ship in that direction, pushing forward will tilt your ship down, pulling back will tilt your ship up. This is a slower method of increasing your altitude than the spacebar, but it is suitable for small changes.

Managing Speed

Increase your pace all the way up when you're in open air. Press S to reduce the speed of the ship back to a normal level when you need to slow down or stop.

Docking Your Airship

When docking, approach the ground first to any open area. To lower down, press and hold shift, and to level the ship out, use the mouse. When close to the surface, press E and the ship will come to rest on the ground. With the upgraded Air Dock, press the left mouse button to move at a much higher speed.

Docking at a Dock Station

If you are docking, use only the mouse, not any arrow keys. To turn left and right, look in that direction, and use the mouse to adjust the height as necessary. Position yourself, move slowly forward, and press E to dock.
