Red Gems, Blue Gems, and Green Gems are valuable resources in ARK: Genesis Ascended Part 1, and you do not need to search several different locations to collect them. All three types of Gems and a number of other useful items can be found in a hidden air pocket in the Ocean Biome.
All Three Gem Location Coordinates
The Gem farming area is in the Ocean Biome, at a latitude and longitude of about 52.0 and 50.9. Go to these coordinates and dive down until you find a big structure under the water that has an air pocket inside it.
The entrance may be difficult to notice from a distance. Look for an opening beneath the rocky ceiling and swim down through any accessible side. Once inside, you will enter a dry area where you can walk normally.

How to Enter the Underwater Air Pocket
Approach the structure from above and search around its edges for an opening. You can enter from several sides, so there is no need to locate one specific entrance.
Swim downward through the opening until you pass into the air pocket. The water will disappear as soon as you enter, allowing you to explore the area on foot. Bring suitable underwater equipment or a fast aquatic creature to make the journey safer.

Where to Find Red, Blue, and Green Gems
Gem deposits are spread across the ground throughout the air pocket. Red Gems, Blue Gems, and Green Gems can all appear within the same small area, making this one of the easiest places to farm all three resources.
Walk around the outer sections and inspect the ground carefully. The deposits can blend into the environment, but their bright colors make them easier to identify at close range.
A single trip around the area can provide a useful amount of each Gem type. The deposits should eventually respawn, allowing you to return and farm the location again.

Best Tools for Farming Gems
A Mining Drill is one of the fastest tools for harvesting the Gem deposits. It can collect large amounts quickly and reduces the time you need to spend inside the area.
A Metal Pick can also harvest the deposits when you do not have access to a Mining Drill. Bring enough inventory capacity because Gems can become heavy when collected in large quantities.
Other Resources and Creatures
The air pocket contains additional resources that can be gathered while farming Gems. Check the surrounding rocks and plants before leaving to make the most of each trip.
The location can also help with taming nearby aquatic creatures. Anglerfish and other sea creatures may become trapped around the low ceiling near the entrance, making them easier to attack or tranquilize. However, creature behavior can vary depending on the server or game mode.
