ARK Survival Ascended Guide | Top 3 Loot Farming Missions (Genesis Ascended Part 1)

Farm valuable loot and Blueprints quickly by repeatedly completing three easy Genesis missions.

Missions are one of the best ways to collect random loot in ARK: Genesis Ascended Part 1. Long missions may provide more Hexagons, but shorter activities are usually better for repeated farming. Dodoball Shot Clock, The Rhino 500, and Space Jam can all be completed quickly without powerful late-game creatures.

Dodoball Shot Clock

Dodoball Shot Clock is one of the easiest missions to farm. Open the Mission List, select the Bog Biome, and track the mission to find its starting point.

The goal is to get Dodos through the goal before time runs out. For a reliable shot, stand just beyond the designated line and shoot just above the surrounding tree. Once you get the right angle, you can keep scoring over and over without moving.

You can also place a Tek Jump Pad near the court. When positioned correctly, it can launch each Dodo toward the goal automatically. Stand behind the setup, so your character does not interrupt the Dodo’s movement.

Hostile creatures may occasionally enter the area and block your shots. Carry a Flamethrower or another reliable weapon to clear them quickly before continuing. The mission rewards one random loot item per completion and can provide useful Saddles or Blueprints.

The Rhino 500

The Rhino 500 is the strongest option when you want to farm a large amount of random loot quickly. The mission places you on an X-Woolly Rhino and requires you to race through blue checkpoints across the Arctic Biome.

Run the mission several times on a lower difficulty to learn the route. Begin turning before sharp corners because the Rhino moves quickly and can become stuck on trees or branches. You can briefly slow down during difficult turns, then accelerate again once the path is clear.

Completing the mission on Alpha offers the best loot quality. The race can usually be finished in around 60 to 90 seconds after you learn the route, allowing you to repeat it many times in one farming session. Finishing faster does not improve the standard reward, so focus on reaching every checkpoint before the timer ends.

Space Jam

Space Jam is the Lunar Biome’s Dodoball mission. It follows a similar idea to Dodoball Shot Clock, but the reduced gravity makes each throw harder to predict.

A Tek Jump Pad can make scoring more consistent. Position it behind the throwing point and test different angles until the Dodo travels directly toward the basket. Around 27% launch force can work well when the pad is aimed correctly.

You can even stand over the basket and chuck the Dodo down. The Tek Jump Pad approach, however, is easier to replicate if aligned correctly. Space Jam generally lasts longer than Dodoball Shot Clock but has a random reward pool that can include valuable Saddle Blueprints like Magmasaur Saddle Blueprints.

Best Mission for Repeated Loot Farming

The Rhino 500 is usually the most reliable of the three, as it has a few random rewards and may be completed in a short time. Dodoball Shot Clock is more simple and very good if you want to passively farm with a Tek Jump Pad, whereas Space Jam is a good option if you want to get different Saddle Blueprints from the Lunar Biome loot pool.
