Here's a guide on how to get Raki in Hades II.

Before you can recruit any Animal Familiar, you must first defeat Hecate, the initial boss of the game, at least five times. During these encounters, you'll need to use the Pickaxe twice and the Shovel twice in Hades II.

Initial Requirements

Additionally, you must free at least one soul using the Tablet of Peace. Once these requirements are met, Hecate will provide you with the Faith of Familiar Spirits incantation, which requires one Lotus and two Nectar to cast.

Successfully performing this incantation will grant you a Witch's Delight, a biscuit-like item that serves as the key to befriending animal Familiars.

You'll need to craft additional Witch's Delights using the Beastloved Morsel recipe, which requires one Nectar and one Stardust.

Stardust can be purchased from the Wretched Broker for 600 bones, though only one can be bought per night, making it a somewhat scarce resource early in the game.

Raki - The Resourceful Raven

After using Frenos for several runs, you'll have the opportunity to encounter Raki in the fountain room of Erebus. This black raven must be encountered and greeted multiple times before you can offer it a Witch's Delight in Hades II.

Raki - Combat and Ability

Raki is very practical to use during combat and resource collecting, with a 4% chance bonus to critical hits and pecking enemies periodically for 5 damage and marking them.

The Familiar's resource collection makes it particularly good for upgrading equipment and crafting.

Raki increases your chance of encountering Stone and Metal deposits, which are needed materials for unlocking and upgrading equipment.

Given the steep material expense for weapon development, Raki is an excellent second option.

Raki's critical hit bonus is mighty in this game since critical hits deal triple damage rather than the typical double damage found in other games.

This also makes the 4% critical chance increase more worthwhile. The Familiar's passive ability to mark enemies on attack for damage offers strategic value when in combat in Hades II.

Crafting Witch's Delights

Creating additional Witch's Delights requires patience and resource management. The Beastloved Morsel recipe functions similarly to plant cultivation, requiring time to complete after mixing the ingredients.

Game time passes with runs, character encounters at the Hot Spring or Tavern, and fishing activity.

Additional Stardust can be gained from the Wretched Broker's limited supply and Chaos Trials that are opened after getting a specific incantation from Chaos upon completing three cycles of curse evolution. Completing these one-zone challenges provides you with Stardust in Hades II.
