Tales of Arise has a very deep end-game loop where players can chase after the most powerful gear in the world. Traditional guns have set numerical limits and cannot go beyond them, but this unholy weapon has an organic limit to its power. It is widely regarded to be the deadliest firearm available to Shionne, its potential damage output can scale all the way up without limits. If you manage to get this artifact , your # 1 healer becomes a total heavy artillery and can shred the toughest super-bosses in the game .

This weapon could not be removed from the dimensional rifts without a huge amount of mechanical preparation and tactical endurance. This weapon cannot be forged at a normal campsite merchant, nor can it be obtained from an item shop in Viscint. You have to survive the most dangerous post game gauntlet the developers have designed to get the rifle.

The Secret Mechanics of Consuming Souls

The Dämonisch Core is impressive, because it has a very unique passive mechanic that ties its raw attack power to Shionne's own combat history. When you first acquire it, the physical and elemental attack stats will seem like they’re non-existent or frozen at 0. That first threshold is misleading, though, since the rifle scales exactly one-to-one with Shionne’s lifetime kill count.

Any confirmed enemy defeats that Shionne is credited for in your entire playthrough will permanently increase her physical and elemental attack stats by 1 point each. If you’ve been playing actively and relying heavily on Shionne to deal the finishing blows during the sixty-hour campaign, the rifle will immediately get a huge power boost. This way, the weapon will naturally reflect your personal dedication to mastering her long-range rifle combat style.

The Extra-Dimensional Expedition Begins

You will reach the center of the Earth Spirit Temple and speak with a mysterious individual known as the Space-Time Researcher. This interaction will officially end the first of the anomaly investigations, and will instantly unlock the legendary post-game questline known as Otherworldly Visitors. The scientist will generate a vortex-like, galactic rift passage that serves as an entrance to an entirely different universe called the Otherworld.

The Otherworld is a deadly parallel dimension consisting of six increasingly difficult floors and unique geographic sub-zones. Each separate layer of this dimensional labyrinth is fiercely guarded by an elite boss character, each guarding a particular character’s unique Devil’s Arm. The gauntlet is 5 floors and you have to systematically clear all the floors leading up to Shionne's weapon to get the keys to open the next rift.

Entering this gauntlet under-leveled is an absolute recipe for disaster, as the enemies roaming these parallel corridors easily scale past level seventy and eighty. Ensure your active party members are fully optimized, utilizing the best available forged armors and specific elemental resistance accessories. You also need to stock up on your premium orange gels and life bottles to maximize your healing capacity.

Conquering the First Four-Dimensional Levels

The Otherworld's first floor is the starting point for your extra-dimensional crusade, which takes the shape of the damp and dangerous Cavern of Fate Depths. Edna: At the end of these watery pathways, you’ll find a guest boss waiting for you. This is a tough earth-attuned warrior with a huge amount of physical defense. In combat, you need to be very mobile to avoid her large rock constructs, while also using wind magic to exploit her natural elemental weaknesses.

Defeating Edna will reward your party with the unique Destiny Key and unlock Dohalim’s specific Devil’s Arm, Diablo Nox. Use your new key to open the gateway leading down to the Second Floor, the Spirit Forest Depths. This area is filled with high level elemental aberrations. The area culminates in a brutal boss fight with Nimus Origin.

Nimus Origin is a ton of broad physical hits, and heavy area of effect elemental magic that can easily break your party's defensive formation. It will try to start a heavy forward charge every time, so use Kisara’s specialized shield boost attacks to stop it dead in its tracks. Defeating this botanical monstrosity rewards you with the Symphony Key and Kisara's ultimate weapon, the Os Rex shield.

Then with the Symphony Key in your inventory walk straight into the third sector of the rift, the Oracle Snowcap Summit. This is an icy terrain and your party will have to survive a frenzied multi-target boss fight against 3 different elemental entities called Maleiys, Vasneiys and Dulneiys. Each individual boss has completely opposite elemental weaknesses and resistances, so you absolutely need to have strict targeting discipline.

Have Rinwell use her top tier magic spells on one target at a time and clear them out of the field one by one before they can take down your healers. Besides the Abyss Key, you’ll also earn Rinwell’s specific tome, the Records of the Fallen, for overcoming this chaotic skirmish of the blizzard. With this key you can easily go to the 4th floor of the gauntlet, which is the Dragon Slumber Mountain.

Eizen, a giant brawler with the destructive power of the wind and earth elements, guards this volcanic peak. Eizen is surprisingly agile for his large frame, unleashing deadly explosive punch combinations that can take down your frontline vanguard with ease. The timing on the dodge rolls is key for perfect evades, which allows Law to attack quickly to get the Zest Key and the gauntlets of the Demon's Cry.

Surviving the Twin Titans’ Burning Convergence

The Otherworld’s fifth floor leads your party to the very top of environmental peril in the Volcano of Renewal Summit. In the same arena that throws you into a brutal tag-team match against Edna and Eizen, you are thrown against a new single opponent. This round is a massive spike in strategic difficulty given how many physical and magical dangers are incoming.

You need to turn your party’s artificial intelligence settings to fully concentrate on one boss and keep the other distracted. Typically you want to kill Edna first, as she has disruptive area-of-effect earth magics, then turn your full offensive power on Eizen. Making it through this grueling double battle will reward you with the Scarlet Night Key and unlock Shionne's Devil's Arm, the Dämonisch Core.

To survive this brutal double attack you’ll want to equip your front-line fighters with Alexandrite or Garnet accessories. These special charms will dramatically reduce incoming light and fire damage, allowing your characters to keep up their offensive momentum. Shionne needs to be kept well out of harm's way, using her powerful Resurrection and Revitalize arts to instantly patch up any sudden drops in the party's health.

When Edna sets up her giant rock falling arrays manually give your vanguard the order to disengage and retreat to the outer edges of the platform. Meanwhile, time Alphen’s blazing sword boost strikes to bring Eizen down every time he goes to charge up his explosive aerial dives. This mix of defensive caution and aggressive disruption will gradually whittle down their huge shared health pools.

Unlocking the True Strength of the Dämonisch Core

As soon as the twin phantoms turn to stardust, the legendary Dämonisch Core will automatically appear right into your inventory. In the main equipment menu, you can immediately equip this lovely, dark, power-filled rifle to Shionne's active weapon slot.
