One of the most challenging early fights in Hollow Knight Silksong takes place in the Marrow's area. This Boss is in the upper right corner of the Marrow's area, and you need to be very good at timing your attacks and recognizing patterns to beat it.

Boss Location

Find your way to the far side of the upper right corner of the Marrow's. You'll meet this Boss in a later part of the area. The fighting arena gives you enough room to move around, which you'll need for the next fight in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Combat Strategy

The Boss attacks in three main ways that you need to learn to spot quickly. Pay close attention to the Boss's body language; it will reveal which attack is coming.

Place yourself directly under where the Boss will fall when they are ready to jump. Watch the Boss finish its jump arc and walk under it. With this move, you can avoid damage and get ready for a response in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

If the Boss gets ready for a swing attack, you should run away right away to put some space between yourself and the enemy. By moving back, you can avoid getting damaged by the sweeping action.
