Learning how to use the Pogo technique in Hollow Knight: Silksong gives you more ways to move around and fight. This move in the air allows your character to bounce off enemies and other objects while maintaining its airspeed.
If you know how to do this method, you'll be able to move around the game world more easily in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Executing the Pogo Attack
You must be in the air before you can perform a Pogo move. Hold down the control key and press the attack button at the same time while your character is in the air.

When you press this combination, you'll deal a downward strike that can hit enemies, items, or some parts of the environment below you.
When your downward attack hits a target, Hornet will instantly bounce back up, which will help it fly higher. This rebounding action is what makes Pogo attacks useful for both combat and navigating Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Chaining Multiple Pogos
Chaining together several Pogo moves in a row makes them even stronger. Every good hit resets your ability to do another Pogo attack, so you can keep bouncing off the same target or a series of targets.
Because you can chain hits together, you can stay in the air for extended amounts of time as long as you keep landing hits in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Every time you do a successful Pogo, your character's movements become completely new. You have the dash moves and basic hits, providing you with more ways to move while airborne. You don't have to touch the ground to switch between Pogo attacks, jumps, and normal fighting moves.
Using Pogo for Vertical Navigation
Pogo attacks that work well can be used to get to higher levels because they create upward momentum. You can use enemies strategically placed at high points as stepping stones to get to places that would require different ways to get there otherwise.
Using Pogo methods to move up and down is especially useful when fighting enemies that are flying. These targets in the air often set themselves up at heights that make it easier to access higher platforms or secret locations.
You can get a lot of height and hurt enemies at the same time if you time your Pogo moves right when they are flying in Hollow Knight: Silksong.

Strategic Applications
In addition to simple movement, Pogo attacks can be helpful in battle for strategic reasons. This method allows you to maintain attacking pressure while staying mobile and avoiding dangers on the ground.
Pogo moves let you stay in the air longer when you're fighting a lot of enemies at once or when you're in dangerous terrain in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
Every time you Pogo, your action states get refreshed, allowing you to perform more complex flying moves. You can mix Pogo attacks with dashes and regular strikes to make smooth-moving patterns that help you stay in a good position during battle in Hollow Knight: Silksong.
