Finding the right heavy blade early can completely carry your run, but tracking down every Greatsword takes some exploring in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Burnt Sword of Fierbois Location

You can get the Burnt Sword of Fierbois relatively early in your playthrough. Make your way to the Paris Streets and head toward the Prison Tower.

Climb all the way to the top of the tower structure. At the summit, you will trigger an encounter against The Warrior. Take down this boss, and she will drop the Burnt Sword of Fierbois right into your inventory as a reward.

Claymore Location

The Claymore is hidden inside a loot chest located high up in the Clock Tower in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Work your way toward the upper right section of the tower until you reach the Path of the First. When you get to the split in this area, do not take the left path. Instead, turn right and push through the combat gauntlet.

Clear out the enemies along the corridor, and you will find the chest holding the Claymore waiting at the end.

Durandal Location

Durandal is a Masterpiece-tier Greatsword found on the eastern side of the map within the Library.

Enter the Curiosity Cabinet room on the right side of the Library.

Look around the room for the floating planets. You need to jump across the correct sequence of planets to trigger a route leading upward.

Once the route opens, hit the jump point to launch yourself into a hidden opening in the ceiling.

Complete the brief platforming section above to reach the chest containing Durandal in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Excalibur Location

Excalibur is a Legendary Greatsword tied directly to The Brittle King Tarot card questline.

Before heading out, make sure you have the Fist of Talos equipped. Walk over to Notre Dame and enter the Chapel room located on the far right of the zone. You will spot a classic sword stuck inside a stone.

Interact with the stone while holding the Fist of Talos to pull the blade out. This immediately triggers a boss fight with The Brittle King. Beat him to finish the encounter and claim Excalibur in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.
