Relics give your build crucial passive bonuses, but finding them is not always straightforward. Several chests sit behind hidden breakable walls, tricky jump puzzles, or sealed Chaos Blocks that block your path until you get specific abilities.

Once you defeat Joan of Arc at the Roof of the Tower and talk to The Fallen at the Stairs to the Tower Roof, you get the Holy Light spell. This allows you to phase right through shifting blocks and grab powerful gear you had to walk past earlier in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Castlevania: Belmont's Curse Burned District

Obsidian Fang Location

The Obsidian Fang triggers its effect whenever you break an enemy's guard stance. If you rely heavily on heavy weapon strikes, parries, or shield breaks, this is worth picking up.

After getting the Holy Light spell at the Stairs to the Tower Roof, descend into the tower shortcut. Pass through the Torture Level and continue down into the Guard Level. Push toward the left side of the room until you see a puzzle room blocked by Chaos Blocks.

Activate Holy Light and slide through the phased opening. Turn your light off to latch onto the wall, wall kick up, then flick the light back on to swing across the yellow rings without dying to the trap blocks.

Climb up to the top right platform, take down the Claw Monster, and open the chest waiting on the ledge for the Obsidian Fang in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Shadow Veil Location

The Shadow Veil is a defensive safeguard. Whenever your current health drops below 33%, it grants a flat defense buff to help keep you alive in tough boss encounters and mob arenas.

Return to the Burned District and head to the western section of the zone where the swinging cage room is located.

Stand near the yellow ring where you found the statue earlier and face upward toward the ceiling. Activate Holy Light and jump straight up through the floor that was previously sealed by Chaos Blocks in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Entering this upper room triggers a three-wave arena fight. The first wave pits you against two harpies and a bone cross skeleton.

The second wave brings two bone cross skeletons on the flanks and a central Fire Guardian. The final wave throws another Fire Guardian at you alongside extra harpies. Defeat all three waves to unlock the upper ledge, then open the chest to collect the Shadow Veil.

A. No. Both of the relics are behind Chaos Blocks and you can't pass through them until you get the Holy Light spell right after you defeat Joan of Arc.
