During Streets of Paris, you can pick up two key relics: the Crypt Key and the Twilight Gem. Both give you strong passive perks that help you stay alive and hit harder. Here is where to track down both relics and what you need to do to grab them.

Castlevania: Belmont's Curse How to Get the Crypt Key

How to Get the Crypt Key

The Crypt Key is great for sustain because opening any chest completely refills both your health bar and your mana pool in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

To collect it, make your way through the Burned District section of the Paris Streets. Look for an entrance marked as the Seer’s Hovel and head straight inside through the main doorway. The Crypt Key sits directly inside this chamber, waiting for you to pick it up.

How to Get the Twilight Gem

The Twilight Gem rewards an aggressive playstyle by granting a 30% damage buff for three seconds every time you cast a spell, which melts through tougher enemy health pools.

To reach this relic, you need your whip grapple abilities unlocked to cross a hazard-filled room. Start by heading into the Central Sewer Drain area within the Paris Streets.

Locate the main vertical sewer shaft, then approach the challenge room located directly to the west by coming at it from the east side in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Drop down into the room and watch out for the rotating saw blades spinning across the floor. Use the first purple ring icon to swing yourself over the gap. Stand in the middle of the platform to get your balance. It's safe here, and you'll miss the blades.

Latch onto the second purple ring, then immediately whip upward to hook the yellow ring above you in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Keep swinging straight up along the ring chain until you land on the upper platforms. Finally, head to the right along the top ledges to find the treasure chest holding the Twilight Gem.

FAQ

Q. Can I get the Twilight Gem before unlocking whip traversal?

A. No. You need the ability to latch onto purple and yellow rings to clear the saw blades and pull yourself up into the upper chest room.

Q. Does the Crypt Key restore mana if my health is already full?

A. Yes. Opening any chest restores both gauges completely, so you can treat chests as instant resets for both health and mana.

Q. Does the Twilight Gem damage boost stack if I cast multiple spells quickly?

A. The 30% damage buff refreshes its 3-second timer when you cast another spell, rather than multiplying the damage bonus on top of itself.
