To free the Sage in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, you must track down four specific seals scattered across the map, enter their mirror dimensions, and take down the boss guarding the maze beyond.

How to Find and Break the Four Seals

Each seal is tied to a corrupted Mirror of Life. These mirrors differ from standard ones because they do not permit fast travel. Instead, teleport to the nearest waypoint you have unlocked, walk up to the marked mirror, and bow directly in front of it in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Doing that pulls you straight into the Hall of Mirrors, where you must smash the glowing crest above the frame and eliminate waves of hostile monsters to return.

Paris Street Seal Location

Head to the Prison Tower inside Paris Street and look for the middle mirror in the area. Once you spot the crest etched into the glass, bow to trigger the portal.

Shatter the seal hanging above the frame, wipe out the enemy ambush that spawns immediately after, and exit back into the street in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Main Hall Seal Location

Travel to Ferryman's Wharf within the Main Hall and head northeast. Climb toward the upper story using your movement abilities. From the large stone statue, take the high path leading east and walk through the dimensional door to reach the Servant's Hall.

Proceed northwest until you reach the Archive. Bow before the marked Mirror of Life, break the seal above it, and defeat the ambush to clear the second barrier.

Clock Tower Seal Location

Work your way toward the western edge of the Clock Tower until you reach Mechanic's Ascent. Getting through this ascent requires chaining abilities like Arcana Whip, Holy Light, Aerial Rush, and Smash in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Approach the mirror waiting at the end, bow to enter, break the seal overhead, and defeat every monster in the room.

Notre-Dame Seal Location

The final seal rests inside the East Gallery of Notre-Dame. Locate the mirror marked with the crest of Sage Eleanor. Bow to enter the arena, shatter the last crest above the frame, and defeat the remaining waves to finish unlocking the set in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Navigating Hall of Mirrors to Find The Temptress

Breaking all four seals opens up a new path. Head over to the Main Hall Mirror Rooms, which now allows you to warp directly into the Hall of Mirrors.

Once inside, head southeast from the local Ferryman's Wharf and drop down along the right-hand ledge. Thick fog completely smothers the floor here, cutting off your sightlines until you beat the boss behind it: The Temptress.

To navigate the fog without running in circles, pay close attention to the reflections in the mirrors you pass. A blue reflection tells you the right direction, and kneeling before it points the way forward.

A red reflection is a trap, and kneeling before it causes your own reflection to jump out and attack you. A normal, clear reflection acts as a reset point, sending you right back to the beginning of the area if you ever get lost.

Beating The Temptress and Claiming Your Reward

Make your way through the maze and defeat The Temptress. Once she falls in battle, the heavy fog clears from the area completely in Castlevania: Belmont's Curse.

Walk up to any nearby Mirror of Life immediately after the fight to trigger the final clue from The Sage, revealing that she managed to escape on her own. To find her, fast travel over to Holy Innocents' Cemetery.

Head west into the Mausoleum of the Queens and keep moving until you enter the Tomb of the Noble Queen. Speak with The Sage there to conclude the quest line and claim the Mirror Walk Arcana card.

FAQ

Q. Why can't I fast travel from the seal mirrors?

A. Mirrors that hold the seal marks for The Sage function strictly as challenge portals. You can only use them to step into the combat arenas, not to fast travel to other waypoints.

Q. What should I do if I get lost in the fog before fighting The Temptress?

A. Search for a mirror with a standard, clear reflection and kneel before it. This resets your position back at the start of the maze so you can follow the blue reflection mirrors correctly.

Q. What do you get for finishing The Sage's quest?

A. Speaking with The Sage at the Tomb of the Noble Queen rewards you with the Mirror Walk Arcana card.
